What Happened to Ice?

Ice, Panda, and Izzy were picked up from my home early March, 2008, after entrusting my Ice to the care of Emily Fish for showing to her championship, and giving over ownership of my Izzy and Panda to pay for this showing.  Let me tell you the same way they told me, 6/8/08, weeks after my poor girls had died in this cruel and neglected fashion, this is the first news I get:

Hi,
Sorry I have not written sooner, with the move, the heavy show schedule lately, and graduating, I have become a little behind.
I don't know how to say this but Bonnie and I are just devastated.  Ice in May had come to my house to travel to some of the local shows and start getting used to going places.  The end of May we left for the big trip to the LA specialty (which BTW, I showed Haze's grandkid to RWB from the 6-9 mth class), Ice and Izzy were left behind in the kennel with our pet sitter.  A few days in the cluster I get a call from our pet sitter, Izzy is sick.  Ok, what kind of sick?  The pet sitter, treated her at home for several days, hoping she would get better with a few days of not eating.  When Ice got sick...I told her that she should really take them into the vet if they aren't getting better.  Well, they both came up positive for Parvo.  Izzy was so far gone by that point that she died that afternoon at the vets.  Ice, took a longer battle, but went down really fast and they couldn't recover her.  I am so mad at myself for not being there as I could have kept them alive, but when you are gone, you don't have much control over what happens and you just have to trust your pet sitter.  BTW, the pet sitter has been fired and will not be returning to our place.  I feel awful about this all and believe me it has been really hard for me to face that these two are gone.  Izzy had a home she was supposed to leave for right after we got home.  They were just in tears over the whole thing.  Bonnie ended up giving them one of her older dogs in compensation.  I know it has been hard to face for Bonnie, since Ice was one of her last blue merles out of Tia still intact.  The Parvo in our area is deadly and it seems that only a few vets seem to know how to treat it.  Luckily I live close to one who does.  I just wish that Izzy and Ice were treated by my vet, but they were not.
I feel terrible for giving you such bad news...

Emily Fish

Come to find out, after investigation by authorities as linked on my homepage, that they did not die.  My Ice was never ill, Izzy apparently perhaps was ill, it's unclear, but was ordered euthanized by Emily and Bonnie because they did not want to pay a vet bill for any care for her.  Ice was then stolen by Bonnie and removed to Bonnie's property, and the cover-up of the theft proceeded with the letter to me from Emily as above.  Bonnie later claimed to animal control and the sheriff's office that Ice died (again) and she threw her out with the trash.  However, she then later recanted and confessed to the sheriff's deputy she had stolen Ice, she was not dead, and she had placed Ice somewhere Bonnie would not reveal.  The rest of the records from the Sheriff's office of Clark County, WA will be linked as soon as I receive them.  The records so far linked are from Clark County Animal Control's investigation that was then turned over to the Sheriff's office when it became obvious we were dealing with a theft not a neglect case.

In the meantime, Bonnie has harassed me by calling in investigations by animal control, Colorado Department of Agriculture, and AKC of my home, property, and my dogs and facilities and records.  All of these have turned up no problem or issue whatsoever as to the condition, care, and/or treatment of my dogs.  So, regardless of how obvious it might be that thieves and liars as proven already in these reports cannot be trusted in their insane accusations against me, and their claims they had a right to steal my dogs because I was treating them poorly, due to Bonnie's so generous attacks and harassment, I now have multiple inspection documents as evidence from authorities that everything here at MY home is fine.  Unlike apparently at their homes where mature dogs become ill and die of parvo, a puppy illness (from which even puppies can usually be saved) - or are euthanized because they don't care to pay for the vet - or die and are thrown out in the household trash...whichever story it is on a given day...
