Ch Kybota Wildblue Rhythm
What can I say about Ember, where can I start...This unbelievably perfect boy finally arrived here, a result of fully three and a half years looking and waiting. We could not have hoped for our search to be so completely fulfilled, he is everything we could've dreamed of.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to Liz, Kevin, and Peter - and Nikki! - of Kybota for the very generous gift of allowing Ember to come to us. And sincere thanks must also go to Aileen, for keeping an eagle eye on every possibility for us, and helping this dream come true!
To go back to the beginning - on Sigrid's expert advice, we imported our lovely girl Jazz (Ch Korella Royal Charm) in whelp to Aust Ch Devondene Kiwi Legend, CD - "Hudson"...and received an amazing litter as a result, from which we had our precious girls Cean and Rain. Unfortunately, the litter contained only one boy - although beautiful, we had to be honest, he wasn't quite a match for his sisters. So began our dream - to find a boy from Hudson, at least the match of our own girls...And finally, well worth the wait, he is here.
Ember is black and white, glamorous, with medium dark eyes and tipped ears, and is put together and moves altogether perfectly. He particularly excels in shoulder, neck, and substance, and passes these qualities to his offspring. I'm afraid my estimate of his perfection has yet to dim as he has aged! His pups continue to fulfill all our most ridiculous expectations :).
Ember is multiple group placing, and was campaigned to #2 Border Collie for 2006, after which he retired from the show ring.
He has sired numerous champion, best of breed winning, group placing, and agility champion and titled offspring, and also tends to produce solid herding ability.
So, I'm sure enough said :) - we're so proud of our boy...
